The realization that started it all

I grew up between France and South Korea. Two countries, two cultures of beauty. In France, shelves are full of creams with magnificent promises — but invisible results. In Korea, skincare is a science. Every ingredient is measured, tested, and calibrated.

After seeing my loved ones — my mother, my friends, my clients — invest fortunes in ineffective treatments, then turn to Botox out of desperation, I asked myself a simple question:

"Why should one have to choose between a cream that does nothing and a needle that freezes the face? There must be a third way."

My discovery in South Korea

The answer was found in a Seoul laboratory specializing in skin biotechnology. Korean researchers had developed a revolutionary active ingredient: golden silk peptides — molecules small enough (less than 500 daltons) to penetrate the skin barrier.

Where 95% of conventional creams remain on the surface and evaporate, these peptides truly penetrate the deep layers of the skin. They restart the natural production of collagen, without injections, without pain, without a frozen effect.

I spent months working with these laboratories to adapt the formula to the daily lives of French women: a simple gesture, a serum, visible results from the very first application.

Why I chose the name Ailence

The name Ailence comes from a play on words between "ail" — meaning strength, essence, something that acts deeply — and "silence" — because true results don't need to shout. They are seen.
